About Healing Haven

In August of 2018 my life changed forever, nothing could prepare me for the grief and pain that trauma would leave behind. Losing my brother to Gun Violence has completely changed me. I battled with insomnia a whole year up until his transition, and months after that; this struggle led to me relying on sleeping medication just to get 2-3 hours of sleep. This struggle then led to me finding my love and confiding in Aromatherapy; I begun by experimenting with several different diffusers and oils, studying their properties, notes and benefits.

I eventually took my passions a step further by taking those next 4 months to get certified in essential oil blending, making and several different alternative therapies to help aid others and myself in healing and feeling.

I found beauty and hope in trying, in getting up, picking up the pieces and trying to go on, I found that it is okay to grieve a lost, to feel down or unmotivated, and for your energy to just be low, but its an amazing feeling to keep on going even when it's hard, overcoming is a beautiful journey that takes time.
